30th-Aug-2008 12:15 am - So Take This Stretch Of Road, We'll Call It Home,
New layout up! I love it, don't you? My cousin and I have been on a Photoshop rampage so we've been geeking out with tutorials and stuff. Hee :) Obviously, I'm excited for Gossip Girl. And I felt inspired to make a Chuck/Blair header cause they're my favorite ship EVAR.
Day 3 of my term break and I think things are looking pretty good. 2 days ago I was ready to go back to school but right now I'm embracing the boredom. And I have photoshop, a few movies and a good book to keep me company. I need to catch up with pMb as well, since I haven't seen them in such a long time. Oh, and a trip my blockmates and I are planning. Hopefully it pushes through.
La la la la la. Okay, I have nothing much to say. Bye bye :)
Viva La Vida music videos for my fellow Coldplay fans! Thanks to ohnotheydidnt the best community EVAR.
First one's the official video directed by Hype Williams. I love his "dance moves" (If you call that dancing), too cute. The second one is a cover version directed by Anton Corbjin which features Chris Martin as the lonely king carrying around the Delacroix painting of the French revolution. I actually love this more than the official video.
I swear, If this song was to take human form, I'd marry it in a heartbeat. ♥ It gives me goosebumps. It's one of the few songs that I never get tired of listening to, second to Apologize by One Republic. By the way, did you notice how blue Chris Martin's eyes are in both videos? Was it because the videos were digitally enhanced or are they really that gorgeous? Damn boy.
Coldplay, please come to Manila. I need you to fulfill my fangirl dreams of watching you perform live. The Secret, help me out here.
14th-Dec-2007 12:51 am - It's "Conquer Your Fear" Day :)
I'm continuously surprised at how my blockmates and I end up in the most bizaare situations. I've experienced so many firsts with them and yet it's like every week, we still find something new to do. Not only that, they always manage to win the argument to make me do things against my will and then proceed to laugh at me for being so clueless/scared. So remind me again why I still hangout with these retards?
Our only complete picture today. Was too busy screaming :))
Most of you might know that I'm extremely scared of rides, and that is why the amusement park is the last place you'll ever find me in. But lo and behold, I was at Global Fun this afternoon with 5 of my blockmates. I know we all agreed to go there but I was only really prepared to ride the ferris wheel (a VERY BIG step for me since I'm afraid of heights) and probably go on the bump cars or something. But right after we rode that big-ass ferris wheel, they dragged me to the roller coaster thing. Okay, it wasn't even a big one, but I was scared shitless. No amound of whining could get me out of that situation, which was a first. And if that wasn't torture enough, they made me do the spinning thingy, which I can't even explain. GOOD GOD. I was hanging on to my blockmate for dear life and screaming like a sissy. It was kind of funny actually, I wasn't really expecting that I would get on those rides and yet I did. So yeah, that's the good kind of peer pressure for you. But I have to admit, it was fun. Yes, I had fun. I can go cross that off my list now. Now if only I could find someone to teach me how to ride a bike.
Tomorrow will be another first for me, I'm commuting all the way to UP (FINALLY) to watch the Oblation Run. Ultimate college experience, haha. Hopefully it doesn't lead to another misadventure. See you there skanks ;p
Don't you hate it when there are rumors going around that school is going to be suspended then you find out that it's not true? Haay sucks. I was actually okay with going to school in the first place but when they announced that there might not be class, I ended up looking forward to just staying home. Now I'm all tamad to go to school. Thanks.
I hope everyone had a great weekend like I did. For the first time in 4 weeks, I went straight home after class on a Friday night. Spent quality time with my family, we had dinner out and watched Die Hard (which I enjoyed alot. I think I'm turning into a guy) and I slept over my cousin's house in BF. Then the next day, I watched Harry Potter in Mall of Asia with my cousins and tita. IMAX was a great experience, with massive theatre, reclining seats and cool 3D shades :p Definitely worth it. We also ended up on a semi roadtrip to Taft Avenue then back to Las Piñas to get those HP7 books. As for me, no I don't have the book although I wanted to buy. But then I realized that I can wait naman until my cousins are through and then I'll borrow. Besides, still have readings for my classes that are waiting to be read (and highlighted). Grabedad.
And obviously, today I watched UAAP in Cuneta with my family. Awesome seats, by the way. Was there early so we watched the first game. Shh don't tell anyone but me likey Boom Gonzalez :)) I think he's pretty decent, too bad he's short. Moving on, FEU won against Adamson in the first game. Then in the main event, UE beat Lasalle by 20 points. UE is now at the top of the standings at 4-0 while Lasalle is tied with Ateneo at 3-1. I didn't mind losing that much, anyway UE was REALLY good today. They were shooting all over the court and it still went in! Galing. So I guess it wasn't so bad. I just wish the refs were fair in calling fouls and what not. SO NOT COOL, MAN :| But whatevs, I hope things will look up on Thursday. It's funny cause after the game, the DLSU crowd kept chanting "beat Ateneo, Animo Lasalle!" :)) I guess they're excited for Thursday too. CANT WAIT TO CUT FOR THE FIRST TIME :)) I need tickets first, though.
Okay, I think I need to go get some sleep now. But before that, here's a survey.
I was supposed to include this in my Exams-Farm-Christmas Party post but I think it deserves an entry of its own. :) A video made by one of my bestfriends, pabellita.
Now everyone knows how retarted we are when we're together. Hahaha. I love you, friends. ♥
The first player of this game starts with the "6 weird things/habits about yourself" and people who get tagged need to write a blog of their 6 weird habits/things, as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names.
Un. I sleep with the lights on (or the bedside lamp on) then I cover my eyes with a pillow. Oh, and I can't sleep if it's too quiet.
Deux. I feel really bad when I go to the mall & I don't buy anything.
Trois. I'm sensitive to earthquakes. I try to sit very still & try to feel if the world around me shaking/moving/whatever.
Quatre. I love to travel but I hate riding airplanes. I hate the smell, the food, and the take-off part. Oh, and turbulence. Haha so in other words, I'm scared of airplanes.
Cinc. When I have to throw away paper (like from notebooks & stuff), I have to shred them first even if it's just notes or doodles. I always feel that someone will look into the trash & read the stuff I wrote. Hahaha :P
Six. I only read Harry Potter during the morning or in the afternoon, but never at night. Also, Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons. I imagine things too much. :))
